The Platform is Maplink Cloud's business unit focused on proprietary technology for logistics and intelligent routing. It is made up of three complementary pillars: an ecosystem of nine APIs, a SaaS interface for operational planning and execution, and Special Projects for tailor-made challenges. The API layer runs on an API-First model, letting companies integrate the calculation engines directly into their own systems (TMS, ERP, or WMS), while the SaaS pillar offers a ready-made interface for those who prefer not to build their own.

When you contract the Platform, you unlock all 9 APIs in the ecosystem, not just the one you already use. Want to try Toll, Tracking, or Geocode later? Just implement it. All consumption goes through a single credit wallet, but each API or endpoint consumes a different number of credits per request, according to the complexity of the calculation involved. That means a call to the Planning API, for example, does not have the same credit cost as a call to the Geocode API.

The Platform is made up of 9 proprietary APIs: Trip (route sequencing), Planning (optimization and planning), Toll (toll calculation), Freight (minimum freight floor calculation), Distance Matrix (distances and times between multiple points), Restriction Zone (restriction zones), Geocode (address geocoding), Map Display (map display), and Tracking (real-time tracking), all available under the same unified credit model.

Maplink Cloud's Platform is designed as a structural backend solution (API-First), with no ready-to-use application or visual dashboard. Maplink Cloud processes the mathematical and geographic data and returns the solution to the client's system. Companies use these agile requests to power their own visual dashboards and internal applications, a model that supports the massive data volumes of operations such as JBS, Magazine Luiza and Sem Parar.

Maplink Cloud makes the Platform's APIs available for integration with the market's main systems (TMS, ERP, and WMS), turning data into end-to-end logistics decisions. After contracting, the client receives access credentials for secure authentication and has complete technical documentation available. For integrations involving complex business rules, Maplink Cloud's Managed Services offer specialized implementation support.

After contracting, you receive exclusive access credentials, used to generate an authentication token. This token must be sent with every API request, identifying your account and authorizing consumption of the contracted services. The token has a limited validity and must be renewed periodically through the authentication endpoint. Maplink Cloud combines the Platform's Planning API and Trip API to reduce fleet costs with more precise routes. The Planning API optimizes the stop sequence considering real constraints such as load, delivery windows, and vehicle restrictions, while the Trip API calculates the actual path between points, including distance, time, and tolls. Together, they reduce idle mileage, fuel consumption, and driver hours, always integrated into the client's own system.

The Platform's Toll API calculates toll costs considering variables such as the vehicle's axle count and number of suspended axles, based on rates kept up to date through continuous monitoring of official bodies, including the Official Gazettes. The calculation follows the Mandatory Toll Voucher (VPO) methodology, reducing the risk of issuing the voucher incorrectly or failing to issue the one required by law. The Toll API already supports Free Flow charging technologies.

Maplink Cloud's Platform allows the creation of custom restriction zones through its APIs. During integration, the Managed Services team helps the client map unique business rules, such as blocking traffic on dirt or cobblestone roads to protect sensitive cargo. This ensures the plan strictly respects the vehicle's conditions and the product's integrity.

Maplink Cloud positions the Geocode API as the foundation of logistics precision, since it converts text addresses into exact geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude). By eliminating location ambiguities, the Geocode API provides the correct mathematical basis for other Platform APIs, such as Planning and Trip, to create viable routes, drastically reducing the delivery failure rate.
