Results achieved
- Faster data queries
- Better monitoring of consumption across different environments
- Higher availability of cloud services
Carga24h is a digital platform built for a range of logistics models, serving both shippers looking to consolidate their negotiations with freight carriers and carriers that want to digitize their own management processes.
Migrating infrastructure to a complete, efficient cloud
Carga24h was struggling with processing issues and slowdowns at its previous provider, which led it to migrate its infrastructure to Google Cloud with support from Maplink Cloud. As a result, the platform achieved greater usability, scalability and performance.
“The whole integration process was very smooth and fast. The validation environment was migrated in two days and the production environment in under 24 hours. We didn't have a single problem along the way”
Ricardo Soeltl — Founder, Carga24h
Solutions used
Carga24h uses Compute Engine to manage workloads and containerized services, and Google Kubernetes Engine to host and deploy applications on secure, customizable virtual machines.
“The biggest advantage after the migration was the drop in latency and wait-time logs, which are now very rare, under 1%. We're very happy”
Ricardo Soeltl — Founder, Carga24h
Strong results and continued growth
With Google Cloud, Carga24h keeps a close eye on its metrics, with full visibility into consumption across its staging and production environments. The company also combines Google Cloud with Google Maps, using the Geocoding API to identify delivery and pickup coordinates and the Distance Matrix API to calculate distance and travel time between points.
