Projeart is a Brazilian company specializing in the design, fabrication and erection of steel structures, serving a range of civil and industrial construction sectors. Founded in 1993, it now has a 95,000 m² industrial park with a 28,000 m² manufacturing area, and provides more than 630 direct and indirect jobs.
Making better use of resources
Since 2022, Projeart's Research and Development team has transformed how the company analyzes data using Google Cloud's Looker Studio, creating well-defined processes to ensure an efficient flow of information between departments.
Looker Studio was first adopted by the sales team to track proposal status in real time, replacing a dashboard that could only be updated to a limited extent. The quick, easy implementation sped up several processes, and the erection team also began using the tool for cost control and project tracking.

Implementing process improvements
Projeart also adopted Google Sheets and Google Forms to improve internal processes, integrated with its Daily Site Report (RDO), which covers engineering planning, release control and the budget spreadsheet, with data updated automatically from external sources.
Engineers fill out a detailed template with deadlines, status, working conditions and action plans, including uploading images organized by erection phase. This image library feeds both the RDO and the Business Intelligence system, and the erection team built a Looker Studio dashboard to filter and analyze information by project, engineer and period.

Shaping tomorrow
To keep improving its processes, Projeart is working to phase out spreadsheets and build a development environment integrated directly into its website, with plans to incorporate Artificial Intelligence in the future.
